A while ago I created a Mac OS X input method that when activated allows one to use LaTeX notation to type mathematical symbols, assuming there are Unicode characters for them. I recently figured out how to do something similar for Microsoft Windows using AutoHotkey. Here are the files in case anyone else finds them useful:
