Re: Questions and discussions about the MPro Installation Gu
I tried to follow carefully the detailled installation guide (thanks for this), but I encounter a problem doing the step 6. Indeed, after inserting all .otf-files in the folder otf, the convert.bat don't convert anything, and the folder pfb remain desesperately empty. I tried twice after dezipping once again script.zip. It was useless. Is it possible that this problem is due to the fact that my MikTeX 2.9 folder is not in Programm files, as it should? (you never know?) Could anyone give me some clarification? I am a pitiful novice, but still full of good will.
PS. I apologize for my poor english.
NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.

Re: Questions and discussions about the MPro Installation Gu
the pfb folder is empty. Also there is an error message saying
to the effect that file t1dotlessj is not found. I am using
MikTex 64 bit version and have placed the LCDF files in
...\miktex\bin\x64\ folder as suggested and clicked on the
MikTex's settings manager's Refresh FNDB button. Still the
pfb folder is empty and the same error message appears. Please
help.

But essentially, I have the same problems. Has anyone found a solution to that?

Questions and discussions about the MPro Installation Guide
I opened up the command line and opened the bat file from there to see what was going on...I can see error messages appearing in the appearing window, of course only for a short time, which is why I have not been able to see exactly what they say...
Clearly something has gone wrong here. And like Louis Valméras, my MiKTeX installation is not in the Program Files. So perhaps that's why the convert.bat isn't working.C:\Users\****\****\****\***\mpro-workingfolder\scripts>t1dotlessj pfb\M
yriadPro-Regular.pfb pfb\MyriadPro-RegularLCDFJ.pfb
't1dotlessj' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

when you unpack lcdf-typetools-w32.tar.xz (can be found at ftp://akagi.ms.u-tokyo.ac.jp/pub/TeX/wi ... w32.tar.xz) and following this lcdf-typetools-w32.tar you should get two folders: bin and share. As Marko said, the content of bin folder have to be placed in C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.X\miktex\bin\x64\ and share folder has to be placed in C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2.X\miktex.
After clicking on the MikTex's settings manager's Refresh FNDB button, the convert.bat should work no matter where it is placed. Convert.bat (and otf folder) can be placed wherever you want if you install LCDF typetools properly.
