Hi! I am an author and a scriptwriter. I "discovered" Latex just a few weeks ago. being fed up with the inconsistencies of adobe indesign, ms word, and so on, I needed a writing system that is stable, and under my control. Writing for both the small screen, radio, and novels, requires a high degree of formatting and I have been known to spend far more time on formatting a script rather than actually writing it in the first place! I discovered Latex, played around a bit with it and, after asking questions on here and elsewhere, put together a decent .tex file that laid out a script in the most professional way I have ever seen (apart from those done by designers at an absurdly high cost!). I am extremely busy writing and, to have a system that takes over the chore of laying it all out for me in a very professional way, is a real boon. So, this is where I am coming from as I start out on this new journey. So far I am enjoying the ride. I hope to see you all around some time and, look forward to picking your brains as we say in the UK when I get stuck.

Sure, when you might get stuck with a problem, don't hesitate to ask here. It could save time. Over the years, we've seen a lot of problems here and helped with fixing.
