Hello everyone. I'm trying to link RStudio with Lyx to use math and calculations with my document.
I have installed knitr in RSturio with no problem (at least, it says it was sucessfully installed and saved in a downloaded_packages folder).
However, when I open up an example file I was given, that contains "chunks" from R, and I try to view the PDF, I get an error message:
Cannot Convert file:
An error occured while running
RScript--verbose--no-save--no-restore"C:/Program Files(x86/LyX 2.0/Resources/scripts/lyxknitr.R"
"C:/USers/myname/AppData/Local/Temp/lyx_tmpdir.p23208/lyx_tmpbuf3/"name of file".....
How can I fix this? I haven't had much luck researching the net for an answer.
EDIT: I installed again the knitr packages in RStudio and the file started working again. I added some tables and I could generate the file.
However, suddenly, after I added a few more tables and graphs, I got the error again. No idea why.
I went to check the modules again and now I couldn't select neither Sweeve nor knitr.
Please help me, I cannot understand why this is happening!! Why are things suddenly getting broken in my lyx?
LyX ⇒ knitr doesn't work?

Re: knitr doesn't work?
If the knitr module disappears it's because LyX can't find it. You can ask LyX to look for it again by doing Tools > Reconfigure. I have not seen any of these problems on Ubuntu. I use knitr in LyX every day and it works great for me.
Consider trying LyX 2.1.1 which will be released soon.
I hope the problems get figured out or go away for you!
