I have recently restarted using MiKTeX after a gap of just over ten years. I have found it O.K. and I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it all came back to me.
Things were fine until I tried to use Beamer to make a slide presentation. Please can someone tell which is the appropriate Forum on which to ask a question about this class?

Hi and welcome.
There is no special place for beamer. Just place the question where it seems appropriate (e.g. header/footer to page layout).
