Hey There,
I recently switched from Snow Leopard to Maverick on my Mac. I checked the forums, and one recommended an uninstall/reinstall, but it still did not work on my Mac. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!

What does not work? Can you be a bit more specific? Do you have a TeX distribution installed?
The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.
Re: Texmaker Not Working On Maverick
Before, Texmaker was crashing and it would not work entirely. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Texmaker and it finally opened. Documents open fine, but the updates won't show. I tried updating one of my documents from last semester and I could type on Texmaker fine. However, my updates won't show when I compile my document. My settings are currently on Quick Build and View PDF. It seems to compile, but it won't show on the PDF. There's a strange message on the bottom that says entering extended mode. Is there another update that works for Maverick? I'm not sure, because I just installed Maverick on my Mac. Does this help? Does this make sense?
I'm not sure if I have Tex Distribution. What is that exactly?
Thanks!

What I did (and solve my problem) is the following:
Go to Applications, then Tex. In there you will have a file with a name similar to FixMacTex2012.pkg. You just have to run it and the problem will be gone.
