change "quote" margins

Post by Stefanotis »

Dear all,

I am currently writing a paper according to the requirements of MLA (Modern Language Association). Thus, I need to adjust the "quote" environment to fit MLA's needs.

At them moment, the "quote" environment indents my paragraphs in this environment, i.e. my longer quotes, on the left and the right. However, I only need to indent my longer quotes on the left side.

Additionally, I need to change the linespacing to single-spaced for each longer quote.

Is it somehow possible to change the "quote" environment, so it only indents my longer quotes in the left side and puts the text in single-spaced text?

Thank your for your help!
