Refresh of FNDB Files needed for every single Compilation

Post by youmyoum »

Hello,

I am new to LaTeX and I have been having a weird problem. I need to refresh the FNDB files every time that I run my code, either it won't work. This is getting very frustrating. At first I realized that I hadn't download thee complete version of MiKTeX 2.9. So I uninstall the software and install the complete version. Unfortunately this did not solve my problem. I am using TeXmaker to compile my code. I have no clue what I am doing wrong. Does anyone has the solution to this problem?

Hi Youmyoumn,

welcome to the forum!

Another long installation, but if nothing helps you could consider installing TeX Live. Also here, I recommend the complete installation, it makes the life easier. I work with TeX Live myself (after switching from MiKTeX years ago) and I'm very satisfied with the TeX Live distribution.
