LyX ⇒ Can't export to pdf

Hi

I already exported a number of document to pdflatex format without encountering any issues. I now an error message for former or new documents for preview, export or printing. The new docs result from duplication, which might explain the problem, but I get this error message for documents that were untouched too. Does anyone have an idea?

'/var/folders/tp/nqd_wzr17g38bqqy2sdnvx980000gn/T/lyx_tmpdir.JL1429/lyx_tmpbuf4/PHD_Proposal_Eng.tex' was not closed properly.

Looks like a temp file got corrupted. Do you have a program for cleaning temp files -- like CCleaner or on Windows there's the Disk Cleanup utility? Once you delete the corrupted temp file, LyX should be back to normal.

Thanks a lot. I am not a computer person, and never had to deal with that kind of issue. I'm on mac, I'll check what is available.
