Hey all

Post by Axel Knappmeyer »

Hello!

I am iving in Germany and I am a heavy latex-layman. ;)

To be honest:

The last time I did use texshop has been 2007.

SO I am really uninformed...

Yesterday I did downmload Latex and I'd like to ask
some questions about that - please be patient in the
face of blunt naivety of these questions..

Thanks in advance!

Axel

Hi and welcome to the board.

Please remember when asking questions, we don't know your system, and we rely on your information to help.

Best way to face a problem: a minimal working example (Minimalbeispiel)
The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.

Hi Axel,

welcome to the forum!

You are also welcome if you would like to post in German on our partner site TeXwelt.de. Just be aware that the TeXwelt site works a bit different compared to a classic forum, but you can get answers by experts there as well, such as Clemens and Johannes, you already met here.

But it's great if you would post in English here. :-) No problem with cross-posts, just a link to the other post should inform about parallel discussions.
