Texmaker and TeXstudio ⇒ Strange slowness while typing some special characters

Hi all,

I'm using Texmaker 4.1 unfer Windows 7 and having some trouble using it.

Some special characters take a long time to be displayed. For example, the time elapsed between the moment I press the '\' key on my keyboard and the moment the '\' character is actually displayed in the Texmaker editor is about 1 second.

The input process does not seem to be stopped, since all the characters I type during the 1 second delay are actually taken into account, but this problem is really annoying while typing formulas...

Did anyone meet it before and find any solution ?
