Requirements for DOT Markup

Post by kalle1 »

Hi together,

after half a day of research I'm absolutely stuck with finding out about requirements for DOT markup inside a dot2tex environment provided by dot2texi package. The documentation says absolutely nothing and the G00gle mailing list is blocking my join request and no result in search engines. I hope that I can get an answer or a hint to the answer of the this question.
What are the limits of markup in DOT markup in a dot2tex environment?
(I tried to add a \verbatimbox which didn't work, so I'm pretty sure there are limitations. I'm not looking to fix issues, but have a clear statement about the limitations).

What are alternatives to describe graphs with nodes that contain arbitrary LaTeX code which can be edited in a LaTeX environment and which are layed out automatically?

Any help or hint is appreciated.

Regards,
Kalle
