MiKTeX and proTeXtError message: Interpreter revision does not match

Error message: Interpreter revision does not match

Hi

Sorry for posting yet an other problem, but I'm struggeling right now. I get the error message saying that some revision (I'm at loss here) doesn't match a different one. I see that the roots may cause a problem as some of them refer to 2.6, others to 2.7. Should I just delete the MiKTeX 2.6 from the c:\program files? (Sorry if I abuse the LaTeX forum, I'm not even sure if this is the right place to post this issue.) :o

The error message goes like this:

The MiKTeX site recommends:
There is no explicit upgrade mechanism which transforms a MiKTeX 2.6 installation into a MiKTeX 2.7 installation. But you can use the command-line version of the package manager to import all missing packages into your MiKTeX 2.7 installation directory. So the upgrade involves these steps:
1. install MiKTeX 2.7
2. import MiKTeX 2.6 packages
3. uninstall MiKTeX 2.6

O boy, that's what you get from not reading the instructions carefully! Thank you very much for spelling it out to me!

Feeling a little stupid right now. But on the other hand very pleased - it even solved my fancyhdr-problem.
