Writing in Hebrew

Post by EnZeR »

Hello,

I'm new to LyX and I've came across two problems when using LyX in Hebrew, I hope you could help me with.

When creating a list with the enumerate environment, after increasing the depth of the list, I get a sub-list numbered by (a), (b), (c) ..., but when I export it to PDF all I get is empty parentheses () without letters inside them. This only happens when I'm writing in Hebrew, otherwise if the text is in English everything is OK.

Another problem, is that I want to write in Hebrew inside an equation, but when I export it to PDF I get encoding errors.

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks.

Hi,
Unfortunately, I don't have an answer to the problem, but I too am writing in Hebrew, and today I witnessed the same enumerating problem - the letters (a), (b) etc don't show up in the PDF. I only get empty brackets.

If anyone could help, it would much appreciated.

I will not be able to help but I imagine that anyone who would be able to would need to look at a minimal example. Can you post both a .lyx and .tex file (exported from LyX) that shows this?
