General ⇒ Table of Contents Problem

Hi,

I have a current Table of Contents (with toc, lot, and lof) but I want to also add a 'List of Photos' - my report has tons of photos that can't be considered as figures.

How can I create that? And how can I make sure the photos will be numbered properly and listed in the toc?

I am a beginner, but I decided to write this big report with LaTeX.

The current version of the caption package offers the possibility to define new float environments like figure or table. Refer to Section 4 (Own enhancements, p. 25ff) of the documentation and take a look at the capabilities of the \DeclareCaptionType command.
