Enhanced Look for Statistics Tables

Hi ;

I'm facing a problem with big statistics tables. I see the tables in the journals are very nice and very compressed , so everything is look nice inside the page .

Is there a special package or commands for statistics large tables to look likes the tables in the journals and books.

For example , I have this table :

I used sidewaystable environment in my example. I tried longtable, but I don't know how to rotate it.

What can I do to make the table to look more nice and not too much messy?

By the way, I tried scaling using \scalebox, but I like to hear from you if there is a special thing for statistics tables.

The table is too complex to give you back a corrected version. Therefore only some remarks.
  • Remove the superfluous empty columns and modify the length \tabcolsep instead if you want some more space between columns.
  • Select the font size once inside the sidewaystable environment before {tabular} and not for every single table cell.
  • Think about typesetting the numbers in parentheses in their own row instead of beside the other numbers.
  • Listen to the compiler and its warnings in the log file. The \tiny font size command is not allowed in math mode.
  • Use the booktabs package for a better look.

The above table has been created in SW and I noticed it repeats the command for the font too many time and I never know it make some troubles. Thank you.

I have a question ..

could we show the margin for specific area in the page only.i.e for the table in Horizontal mode.

Sorry to be late, I had a problem with internet.

I meant about margin is to show the margin in specific part of the page. i.e. , to make table extended in the margin and not the paragraphs in the same page.

I still don't understand what you mean with "show" in this context. If you are looking for tables that protrude the text width equally on both sides while being centered, the Forum Search for sure will yield usable results because this has already been discussed here.
