Affiliation and e-Mail

Post by juliette »

Hello!

I know this seems like a trivial question, but I actually googled this and searched this forum and was surprised at how little information there is on this topic!

How does one add affiliation and email addresses to authors in LyX 2.0 without using Ctrl+L , and without importing a .tex file ?

Recommended reading 2024:

LaTeXguide.org • LaTeX-Cookbook.net • TikZ.org

NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.

And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

Can you be a little bit more specific? An example would be nice. In general, you don't have to use ERT boxes for URLs: use Insert > Hyperlink (or use the button Insert hyperlink from the toolbar).

I'd also like to know. I've spent an hour trying to add affiliation, finally outputted it to a tex file and did it there. Using the Cntrl +L either at the beginning of the document or under author generated a failure message.

Perhaps "ctrl + return" and then add it on the next line?
