LyX ⇒ Unable to find bind File

Hi folks!

I've started having an issue lately regarding my bind file. When I go to preferences to modify the shortcut keys, I get an error message.

Unable to find bind file. Please check your installation.

Via search engine I found this thread here about the issue, but it didn't solve my issue. I couldn't find my user directory even by following the instructions listed there. I've searched everywhere, even where LyX listed it, no luck. So, I reinstalled LyX and that did not help either. I've attached a picture of the error window I receive. The odd thing is that I can still change things after the message and they seem to hold. Not sure what the issue here is.

My system is Mac OS X 10.8.4 and LyX version 2.0.6 (current).

Potentially I've found the solution - somehow the bind file had just gotten erased from my configuration, but was still in the system. I browsed for the file, found the "mac" one and after saving it things seem just fine. Not really sure how this happened...
