Open Files in maximized Window
since a few days a problem is bugging me. Till then, doubleclicking .tex files opened them with maximized editor window in TeXnicCenter. While compiling a document through Shift+Control+F5 I may have pressed another shortcut, since then double clicking a file will open it in a minimized editor like shown in the attachment.
Does anybody know how to fix this rather annoying "feature"?
Regards, H.

Re: Open Files in maximized Window
Anyway, current default behavior is to use tabs. See the menu View | Document Tabs. Ansicht | Dokumentregister. You switched off the tabs, and that is why you have no the classic MDI behavior.

Re: Open Files in maximized Window
Closing TXC with a maximized window was the first thing I tried, but the window properties aren't saved, so on opening TXC again the windows will be minimized again, regardless what tex-file I open.
About tabs: As you can see on the attachment, tabs are activated, they're displayed at the bottom. I never changed the default settings since, so this can be excluded as a reason for my problem
