PDF for Book Printing

Post by kris sienicki »

Hallo,

I created a document (my thesis) and now I have to print it and wrap to create a book. Could you please let me know how should I format my files to create a PDF file to have it ready for a printing shop to print and wrap?

Thank you.
Cheers, Kris.

Recommended reading 2024:

LaTeXguide.org • LaTeX-Cookbook.net • TikZ.org

NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.

And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

I'm afraid that I don't understand your question. In which format is your thesis at the moment? And in which way could LaTeX help here?

In case you are already using LaTeX, the option bindingoffset for geometry or BCOR (binding correction) from typearea (KOMA-Script bundle) might help you.

Please be more specific concerning your problem.

The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.
