Installation of Package from a Bundle

Post by jewels »

Hello,

I am completely new to LaTeX and this forum. So please apologize if I make a mistake.

I am writing my master thesis and use a template provided by a friend of mine. There are many packages missing and I worked out how to use MiKTeX Package Manager.

However I can't find ragged2e. In the internet for example here. I downloaded and opened the "ragged2e.ins" with TeXworks and run it. But I get this error message.

Code: Select all

! I can't find file `ragged2e.ins'.
I tried to comment the first two lines with % and then I get the message that I am not authorized to install this.
Windows API error 5: Zugriff verweigert
I hope what I wrote makes sense and someone can help me.

Installation of Package from a Bundle

You have to install the ms bundle because ragged2e is a part of it. The MiKTeX Package Manager (MPM) should list this bundle. Choose it and install it by click on "+" in the toolbar.

Best regards and welcome to the board
