Texmaker and TeXstudio ⇒ Long Time to focus when switching between Applications

I have noticed that when I use "Alt+Tab" to switch between applications on MS Windows that TeXmaker takes a long time to focus. It appears to be scanning each open file, taking a very brief time with each one (the application's menu bar quickly scrolls through the open file names). Even with only one file open in the editor, it still is not immediate.

This problem begins upon start-up.

This does not happen on my Linux machine (but I am still using 3.5.2 there). Windows 7, 64 bit, 8 GB RAM, Intel Core i5. I doubt it's the machine but wanted to be detailed.

Somehow this is not related to LaTeX as such or a configuration issue of TeXmaker to work with it, but more a systematical problem. Therefore please address this question to the TeXmaker developers.
