I have used Latex for a few years.
I recently turn to Emacs as Latex editor.

Hi and welcome to the community.

I tried emacs once, but it wasn't a pleasure. Been a vim user ever since :)

Are you aware of Auctex?
The smart way: Calm down and take a deep breath, read posts and provided links attentively, try to understand and ask if necessary.
