Gummi + Math ? / Commuting Diagrams / Fonts

Post by Gottfried »

I am using Gummi on Ubuntu Linux as my latex editor.

I enter formula latex code generated in http://www.codecogs.com/eqneditor

Is there a good offline program similar to this latex formula generator?

Also, I need to use several different fonts. How do I do this? I need to combine regular font with that used in topology (curly capitals). I have no idea how to do it, especially in linux. In past i've used mathtype generated images but I need to make full latex documents.

Plus, I need help writing commuting diagrams. I don't have any clue how do make them except in Libreoffice/Openoffice Draw.

I am a total newbie to this ... :D

Please do not mix topics that cover different areas in one thread. For the second and third issue please open separate topics and ask targeted questions.
