Hi All,

I would like to type Assignment and class note for my lectures. I would like to know document class i should use for these type of
tasks.

Why not simply use the article class or -- if you know that a chapter level will be useful -- the report class?

Your question is very unprecise. Do you need anything "special"?
You should take a look at the classes and packages of KOMA-script which are making it very easy to modify the looks of your document.

If you have further questions, please ask a more specific question.

Do you know about minimal working examples. Those help to specify a problem and give the ability to test possible solutions directly.
