Frame Number in certain Presentation Theme

Post by scvr »

Hey guys,

I’ve been using "PaloAlto" now for quite some time. But one tiny little thing still annoys me and thats the missing frame number in the foot line. I read a workaround for "Warsaw" theme, but it doesn't apply for "PaloAlto", I tried it. When I try \setbeamertemplate{footline}[frame number] the whole foot line is overwritten and disappears but then there is a frame number.

Do you know a workaround for this? Stefan K (in the Warsaw workaround) looked into the "beameroutertheme.sty" and used information from their, but how can I transfer this workaround for PaloAlto? I want the frame number (like in Warsaw) besides the title and the author of the presentation.

greetings,
scvr

Hey guys,

I am still searching for an answer how to put frame numbers in PaloAlto without taking away the whole footline.

Has any of you dealt with the same problem? I'd love to find an answer...

Hi scvr,

Welcome to the LaTeX community!

If you wonder why you haven't recieved an answer, yet: it might be because you haven't posted a Infominimal working example. Such a minimal example helps people to see what you have tried so far and where you have trouble. Also, it saves them the need to build an example themselves (and thus also saves them time) which increases your chance of someone helping you.
