German Spell Check

Post by Shikwara »

Hey guys,

I have searched my fingers bloody, but I am unable to find an answer. I am using LyX 2.0.6 with my Windows 7 Pro system and I am slowly getting used to it.

However I am unable to get a German spell check working. Every time I start it with F7 it starts in English. Changing to German (which is installed as well) gets immediately changed back to English. I read in a post that I have to change the document language to German...so ok trying to do this exactly the same happens, it gets changed back to English.

What am I doing wrong? It can't be so hard to get a German spell check! I suppose that should be standard in a program like this. Even Word can do that. (One of the things that actually do work in Office Word...)

Please help.

Thank you
