Wrapped Figure at Top or Bottom of Page

Post by korgman »

Is there a way to align wrapfigure at the top or bottom? I have an image, that takes about half of the width and one third of the length of the document and should be wrapped by the text. I don't want to define the wrapped text exactly, LaTeX should just take the best-fitting text (like [htb] with a regular figure).

Maybe there is also a general alternative to wrapfigure?

Thank you all in advance!

Just for information to other users for awareness of possibly already existing solutions. The question has also been posted to MrUnix (German LaTeX forum). Please read what our administrator thinks about that.

Section 1 of the wrapfig manual describes very good what to do to let these figures float.

Sorry, I didn't know that these two message boards were even remotely related...

It is irrelevant if there are users who visit both boards. It's rather about those who don't because they might work out a solution and don't have the slightest idea that there might already exists another one where else.
