is it possible to incorporate excel tables into latex
First of all you should describe what you are doing to include the graphics files (creation, processing, format, ...). For the Excel spreadsheets you can try excel2latex.

Re: is it possible to incorporate excel tables into latex
I just wanted to incorporate an already existing figure into my latex docements and i did so by using insert picture but the output is not of a good quality. Is there any other way to incorporate pictures, diagrams etc into latex document without damaging their original quality?

Hi hanif,
Thorsten already asked what the picture format is and how it's created. Such information is necessary to provide good advice. Perhaps it doesn't help you much if I tell you that you will get good quality if you include it as pdf file, if it's not in pdf format.
We cannot give a detailed answer without detailed information. Generally try to use vector graphics format for inclusion of graphics like pdf and ps, try to export/create the figures this way.
