How to automatically move lines to next page?

Post by eraser023 »

Hello-

I have close to 50 lines in a page and it could vary-- what can I do to automatically move the lines to next page if it can't fit in one page?

I have a Python script which creates the .tex file with "\input{Table.tex}" .. If the table.tex has more lines then what can I do to automatically copy the header and multicolumn in to the next page?

Is there a conditional statement in LateX or other commands that I can use to move the extra lines to next page?

Thank you for your help.

Seems to me like you should use the according environment from the longtable package instead of the default tabular environment.

Thank you for the reply.

I tried it and it seems to error out-- this is what it reads:

LaTeX Error: Environment Longtable undefined

Do you what that means?

Usually you have to include the longtable package in the same way as you include other packages in your document source. Information about using the package, its options and settings is given with the documentation.

Hi,

use small letters:

Code: Select all

\begin{longtable} ... \end{longtable}
