Multiple Bibliographies

Post by JesseTanguay »

Hi,

I have been using LyX to write journal articles for the past 3 or 4 years now. I am now trying to write my PhD thesis using LyX.

I want to use multiple bibliographies (one for each chapter) and am having problems with the sectioned bibliographies option in LyX. All I have tried so far is going to Document Settings --> Bibliography and selecting the Sectioned Bibliography option. This works well with the exception that it does not support unsorted bibliographies. Does anyone know how to use multiple unsorted bibliographies in LyX?

Thanks,

Jesse

P.S. I am not very LyX/LaTeX/computer savvy.

Recommended reading 2024:

LaTeXguide.org • LaTeX-Cookbook.net • TikZ.org

NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.

And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

But with this experience you should be able to load additional packages. So you may try chapterbib. For details refer to its manual.
