Table of Content

Post by golamkibria »

Contents
Declaration ........................................ I
Acknowledgement ................................... II
Abstract.......................................... III
Contents........................................... IV
List of Tables.................................... VII
Chapter 1: Introduction ............................ 1
1.1 Background ................................... 1

Hi,
I want to have a Table of Content like above where Declaration,Acknowledgement and Abstract are written before the table of content but List of Tables, Chapter 1: Introduction is written after table of content. How to add the section written before 'table of content' into table of content without creating any number and then to add content after 'table of content'. Is it possible to have Table of Content like this.

Recommended reading 2024:

LaTeXguide.org • LaTeX-Cookbook.net • TikZ.org

NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.

And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

Hi golamkibria,

Welcome to the LaTeX community.

Can you please show us a Infominimal working example, i.e. a small document that shows which class you're using and how you're adding the different parts?
