Grey circle marks place in Yap?

Post by zeb »

In the old version of TeXnicCenter I had the following functionality:

When I went to build and view (LaTex->DVI) Yap closed itself and reopened the new version of the Tex document open to the page where I had last made changes, with a grey circle marking where I had last made changes.

This was very useful to me, as I often make and review small changes to long documents. Now, however, running TeXnicCenter 2.0 beta (64-bit), the same procedure causes YAP to open a new window displaying the first page of the document, forcing me to scroll down to try to find my change.

Is there a way to get back the old functionality (opening to the recent page with a grey circle) with my current version of TeXnicCenter? Thanks.
