Is it possible to derive Gantt chart from existing table in latex ? and how ?

Would you be able to post an example of the type of table you're looking to convert to a gantt chart? That will make it easier to see exactly what you mean, and help us come up with an answer!
In general, the pgfgantt package is good for producing gantt charts, you could also take a look at a few examples and if something looks similar post a link to that here, and we can help turn it into the result you're looking for

Hi John,
Thanks for your reply, it is a normal 4 columns table first column is the title and the others are start date, end date, and duration..simply containing text and date.. I didn't find a way to do that in Latex yet ..however I used Microsoft project to create Gantt chart and included it as PDF figure in Latex.
