LyX ⇒ "Unable to find the bind file..."

hello!
im awfully new to LyX!
iv'e installed lyx 2.0.5 with Hebrew support
and i tried to change the menu language to English
but now every time i try to open "tools - preference"
i get the error message
"
LyX: Could not find bind file
Unable to find the bind file
.
Please check your installation.
"
i tried to uninstall and then re-install without changing language preference, but i still get the error.

what can i do??
