arc over symbols

Post by elim »

I tried

Code: Select all

\frown {AB},\; \frown {ABC}
\frown {AB},\; \frown {ABC} for arc from A, B or arc determined by 3 points, but what is the proper way of tex them?

Thanks.

arc over symbols

It would be better if you would post a Infominimal working example in case of problems. \frown is not a standard command.

You could use the fourier package:

Code: Select all

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{fourier}
\begin{document}
$\widearc{AB} \quad \widearc{ABC}$
\end{document}
Or the arcs package and \overarc{...}.
