Kile ⇒ how to insert eps graphics in pdflatex

Hello there,

I have a noob question: how to insert eps graphics if I want to use pdflatex to compile my document? If I see here: http://kile.sourceforge.net/Documentati ... phics.html, it says in the section PDFLATEX and EPS Graphics that I have to

run pdflatex with option --shell-escape

. but how to arrange that in Kile?

Have never used Kile, so cannot answer definitely. But, searching brought up this link, which says that the option can be set in build menu. Take a look the following link:

welcome to the LaTeX community!

You can always use the command line from within kile:

shellescape.png (10.06 KiB) Viewed 11250 times

You can also add a new build command. My kile menu is in German but it should be somewhere like »Settings - Setup kile - tools - build - add new«
