I'm getting tons of warnings in the console, about something that I don't think I used at all in my code. I'm wondering what this is about. The document is compiling fine, though.

I was using some French letters with accent (é, è, ...) under the
\mathrm{} command, and this is what caused the warnings, apparently. I replaced that command with \text{}, and the warnings are all gone now. But then, what is the difference between these two commands ?
