examdesign | Numbering for matching Questions

Post by ursusarctos »

Hi all,

I'm in the process of typesetting an exam using the nifty examdesign class. I've come upon a question regarding the matching questions (I've only used multiple choice before) and wonder if anyone can help me.

In particular, while the multiple choice questions are automatically numbered, the matching questions have no numbers by default. Is there any good way around this? I took a look through the .dtx for the class, but quickly found myself out of my depth.

Has anyone worked with this before?

Recommended reading 2024:

NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.

And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

For an adequate problem description kindly prepare a self-contained and minimal example. Think about replacing this rather outdated class by exam.
