Bookmarks vanish in TeXnicCenter

Post by Kaspar »

Hello

How can I avoid that my Bookmarks (bluish point on the left side, where the line numbering is. Set with ctrl+F2) vanish after restarting TeXnicCenter?

are the Bookmarks saved in some file that could be deleted after closing the Programm, is that the reason why they always disappear?

Thanks for helping me
Kaspar

Hi Kaspar,

I would like to know the answer to this one too. I'm editing a PhD thesis at the moment and it would be great if the bookmarks would remain until I deleted them. Apparently "fixme" offers commenting tools, but I would rather just have a bookmark that is quick and easy to add/remove but stays there on shutdown/restart.

Hopefully this reactivated this string and we can get an answer if anyone has one.

Cheers,
Biggles.

I'll third this motion! I would also like to see the enumerated bookmarks return in TXC 2.0 and persist across sessions. I often used bookmark 0 at my list of \newcommand's at the top, then used bookmark 1 at whatever place I was currently editing. It was nice to be able to jump back and forth so easily....

Hi guys! Have you tried to save your thesis/document as a project? E.g. by:
Project > Create with active file as main file

Works for me ;)
