dvi vs. pdf

I am using TeXnicCenter. When we are making a dvi file, it always takes us to the position where we have modified at the last. Is this facility be achieved for the case of pdf ?

Depends on your pdf viewer. I don't know much about Windows or TeXnicCenter, but try using Sumatra. You might find the Sync Between TXC and Sumatra tutorial useful.
