Equation too wide

Post by h0ps »

Hi guys

I have some equations which are too wide to fit the paper-width. Does anyone know a nice way to get around this problem? Maybe a nice way to make the font size smaller in those equations or a nice way to split the equations into multiple lines?

Thx in advance, you guys are of great help for me! :)

amsmath provides the split environment, for example. Have you read mathmode.pdf already? You'll find various information about math typesetting there.

Thx for the link. I would definitely look at it. I think the split reference is exactly what I need to solve my problem. Thx.
