BibTeX, biblatex and biberBibtex and citation

Bibtex and citation

Hi,I am using win edit for writing my article. i would like to cite my references. i made a .bib file and i am able to make a references, but the problem is when i want to cite paper 3 it is written in PDF file the name of paper 7 (wrong citation) no idea why. and also how can i cite more that one paper in one citation for instance, [1-5].

I don't really understand what you mean (although I have a faint idea...) please consider giving us a Infominimal working example (if you don't know what that is please follow the link). Answers depend on the way you're making the references (good old bibtex or biblatex, ...)

You want want to have a look at the cite package but it really depends...
