Greetings from France

Post by esmitex »

Hi,

A school mate at the university introduced me to latex in 2010. I use it to type some courses but I never really used it much for my reports, because most of the time it's a pair work and the my current school mates don't really know about LaTeX. I think I should convert them to LaTeX because WYSIWG word processing softwares such as Word really get on my nerves when there are a lot o figures and tables in the document.

This year though, I have a paper to write with a huge bibliography. Thus, I would like to know a little more about it.

I use LyX & TeXmaker.

Recommended reading 2024:

LaTeXguide.org • LaTeX-Cookbook.net • TikZ.org

NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.

And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p
