Hi thanks for reading my post!
I am suffering with Texmaker, once I am trying to compile my document but it doen't work out, he keeps showing me older versions of the document...
I am running on ubuntu, if that makes any difference, and my document has some errors in it. But when I was working on windows that didn't matter it compiled perfectly...
Any idea's ?
Ps: I also posted a topic on my errors, if you'd take a look at that to i'd really appreciate it!
Best regards Gertian

No Update to Output
This is a contradiction: either it has errors or it runs perfectly. So which one is it?Gertian wrote:I am running on ubuntu, if that makes any difference, and my document has some errors in it. But when I was working on windows that didn't matter it compiled perfectly...
Are you by any chance using Acrobat reader? It won't refresh the new PDF.

Re: No Update to Output
Well in windows it seemed to compile even with the errors...
In ubuntu it doesn't compile with the errors.
So it is not a contradiction I am afraid, it is the hard truth :/

No Update to Output
Yes it is. Just because the compilation ended and you can see a document in the end does not mean it did compile fine! In both cases you should track down the error and fix it. Only a compilation without errors is fine and acceptable.Gertian wrote:Well in windows it seemed to compile even with the errors...
