How to end a chapter without starting a new one

Post by insipidtoast »

I want my child document to go at the end of my other document.

The problem is that the header from the old document is transferred also to the child document. I don't want the header on the child document.

How do I get rid of it?
FYI:
I'm using windows with LyX 2.0 and MiKTeX 2.9
I'm designing a book using the Koma-script class

Recommended reading 2024:

LaTeXguide.org • LaTeX-Cookbook.net • TikZ.org

NEW: TikZ book now 40% off at Amazon.com for a short time.

And: Currently, Packt sells ebooks for $4.99 each if you buy 5 of their over 1000 ebooks. If you choose only a single one, $9.99. How about combining 3 LaTeX books with Python, gnuplot, mathplotlib, Matlab, ChatGPT or other AI books? Epub and PDF. Bundle (3 books, add more for higher discount): https://packt.link/MDH5p

You could insert

Code: Select all

\markboth{}{}
at that place to clear the header marks.
