LyX ⇒ Remove Chapter Prefix and move Chapter Number down

Hello all,

I have got some LyX files from my friend, which you can find in the attachment.

His "main.lyx" uses "cmuthesis.cls" file and a preamble. I'm trying to modify his "main.lyx" file to create a technical report of my project. I have done almost everything. The files contain words "Chapter 1" and "Chapter 2" at the beginning of every chapter name. I want to remove them and move the chapter number to look like below.

I would like to solve this problem by adding LaTeX code. I saw if I use KOMA-Script I can solve this, but I want to use only the present layout since I modified it almost to suit my needs.
