Fold-out tables.

Post by stefan »

Hey LaTeX experts :-)

I have an interesting problem. I am writing a two-side document, and need to produce nice fold-out tables which must begin on a verso (left) page. I figure that the longtable package and the landscape environment will get me some of the way.

The problem is that longtables don't float, and I am not sure how to make it "float" to the next verso page. Of course I can "hack" every time I need to place such a table, to make it right, however this does not seem very clever. I need quite a few of these tables, and may need to alter text, which would mean having to redo the placing of the tables.

Does anyone have any idea how to achieve this? I am using the memoir documentclass to typeset the document.

I hope you have ideas.

Best regards,
Stefan
