customize "insert reference" for figures

Post by stromovka »

Hello

When I click on the "insert reference" context menu command for navigation bar items, TeXnicCenter writes "\ref{...}" for most items but "\eqref{...}" for equations, which is a very appropriate behaviour. However, I was wandering if customizing "insert reference" for figure items could also be possible. For example, let's assume I have a "figure" environment with a label "\label{fig:foo}". Now, I defined a command "\newcommand{\figref}[1]{Figure \ref{#1}}". May I edit the "insert figure" context menu command to make TeXnicCenter write "\figref{fig:foo}" instead of "\ref{fig:foo}"?

Thanks and regards
