New user....

I'm going to be getting into some new work in theoretical physics that I know will require LaTex at some point, so this seems like a good place to pick up some tips and advice. I've done a lot of work in programming but this will be my first brush with LaTex in depth.

In my university time I've done a lot of stuff with LaTeX. Among other things some homework in theoretical physics and lab reports for experimental physics. Finally I did my diploma thesis in LaTeX. It served as a very helpful tool in every sense.

Hi,

welcome to the board!

LaTeX is actually a bit different to many programming languages, but knowing how to program helps.
